What we are looking for:

BreatheSuite is looking for a highly-skilled and motivated co-op engineering student to contribute to the design and manufacturing, testing and debugging of our inhaler add-on device(s).

This role will primarily be focused on supporting BreatheSuite's engineering team as we begin development for our next device while simultaneously ramping up manufacturing/production of our current device in order to help even more respiratory patients across North America. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, possess relevant experience (or coursework) with engineering design methodology, manufacturing, low power electrical systems, programming and have a passion for problem solving. They should also be energized to contribute to the development of life-changing products for respiratory patients. 

  • Design ideation and prototyping
  • Manufacture and test BreatheSuite devices for use
  • Test hardware, firmware, software and systems as required for quality assurance
  • Debug faulty/non-functioning devices to assist in troubleshooting and improvement
  • Maintain and update inventory management to support ongoing and new projects
  • Participate in project review meetings and support BreatheSuite’s device team 
  • Adhere to company best practices and strategies
  • Fully document all results and observations
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
